I grew up fishing mainly trout and farm pond bass. Started walleye fishing in my 20's. I got into competitive walleye fishing in 2017 taking 4th place in my first ever tournament. Fish primarily inland lakes in NE Ohio and Western PA. I spend all summer and fall on Lake Erie's Eastern and Central Basin.

I have used Snakebite Snap weights since the original owner first starting selling them. Snakebite Snaps are the best snap weight on the market due to there easy one hand operation. There is no pinching which becomes nearly impossible during the cold weather months. No pads to wear out. I also know that when I put a Snakebite on they are not moving. I've regularly trolled 4oz weights and have used up to 8 Oz weights and have never lost or had a snap move.

I have been fishing Lake Erie since I could walk. My dad chartered on Lake Erie for walleye and perch when I was a kid and I also fished with my Grandpa on Lake Erie every chance I got. I started fishing Walleye tournaments in 2007 and was on the tournament committee for the Ohio Walleye Federation and the Buckeye Walleye Trail for many years. In 2015 I earned my Captain’s License and started Signature Charters, LLC which I operate on Lake Erie out of Geneva State Park Marina during the summer months and follow the migration port to port during spring and fall. I have always had a passion for fishing and strive to learn new techniques to make me a better and more versatile angler. Snakebite Snaps is one of those techniques every angler should have in their arsenal to be able to target at an exact depth when trolling.
